Army forces kill 11 ISIS militants dressed as Iraqi soldiers in checkpoint in southern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, a source within the police force stated that the Army forces killed 11 ISIS elements in an area, located in Al-Latifiya district in southern Baghdad.

The source informed IraqiNews, “This evening, ISIS militants dressed in military uniform set up a checkpoint in Al-Latifiya district in southern Baghdad. The Army forces of the 17th Brigade clashed with them and killed 11 elements while others fled away. The dead militants were taken to the Forensic Medicine Authority to identify their bodies.”
