Army kills 21 terrorists, removes 82 IEDs in operation Fajr al-Karma says MoD

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Wednesday, Iraqi Ministry of Defense said, that 21 terrorists have been killed and 82 explosive devices were removed in a military operation in al-Karma district.

The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com “Baghdad Operations forces, backed by the army troops, police elements and al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia fighters, continued advancing on ISIS sites in the military operation ‘Fajr al-Karma’ for the 8th day in a row.”

“The operation resulted in killing 21 terrorists and the dismantlement of 82 improvised explosive devises, in addition to the destruction of an armored vehicle that had carried a machine-gun and another vehicle that carried militants,” the statement also added.
