Army member died of his wounds after being stabbed in Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Saturday, official journalists with the Ministry of Defense announced the death of an army member after being stabbed yesterday in Baghdad’s Green Zone.
The journalists said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today, an army member died in the hospital, after being stabbed yesterday.”
The statement added, “The army member was stabbed by one of the rioters who stormed the state’s institutions.”
Noteworthy, a number of protesters stormed the Green Zone yesterday, while the security forces imposed strict measures and a curfew in the capital, Baghdad.
