(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Australia confirmed on Thursday that its aircraft will take part in missions against ISIS in Syria, stressing its commitment to the destruction of the organization.

“BBC” quoted Australian Foreign Minister Julie Bishop as saying, “The aircraft of the Australian government will participate in the tasks against ISIS inside Syria.”

Bishop added that “Australia is committed to the destruction of the terrorist organization,” adding that “We talked about our involvement in Iraq for several years, not months or days.”
