 Badr militia announces the full liberation of al-Thurthar in north of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The head of Badr Organization, Hadi Al-Ameri, announced Friday, that the Iraqi joint forces managed to fully liberate the area of al-Thurthar in north of Ramadi.

Al-Ameri stated for IraqiNews.com, “The security forces backed by al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia were able to fully liberate the area of Nazim Thurthar in north of Ramadi from ISIS militants,” adding that, “These forces had also managed to lift the siege on a number of trapped soldiers.”

Last week, al-Ameri announced the liberation of Tharthar facility north of Ramadi, as well as lifting the siege on 90 Iraqi soldiers trapped inside it after fierce battles against ISIS elements.
