(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – ISIS claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing that rocked al-Karrada area in central Baghdad today (Sunday), further confirming that the bombing was carried out by a suicide bomber and revealed his identity.

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), in a statement published by its affiliate websites, claiming the responsibility of the blast said, “Suicide bomber Abu Maha al-Iraqi blew up his vehicle at al-Karrada in central Baghdad.”

The terror group also vowed to continue its ‘operations’ against civilians and security forces.
