Baghdad Operations announces foiling attack on police station in western Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Thursday, Baghdad Operations Command announced foiling an attack launched on a police station in al-Zidan area in western Baghdad.

The command said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The attack on al-Eintsar police station in al-Zidan area in western Baghdad had been foiled.”

The statement added, “Three suicide bombers were killed while trying to storm the police station building,” pointing out that, “The attack resulted in the killing of a policeman and wounding of four others.”
