BOC: Cleric arrested for blackmailing citizens

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The security forces arrested a person impersonating a cleric and blackmailing people in Baghdad.

The media division of Baghdad Operations Command said in a statement received by Iraqi News ”The security forces succeeded in arresting, Ammar Abdul Hussein, where he was impersonating a cleric and blackmailing people under threats along with his gang members.”

”The detainee was arrested after chasing him according to intelligence information,” the statement added.

”Baghdad OC urge people to cooperate with the security forces by informing them about any suspicious case to sustain security situation,” the statement concluded. \End\
