Car bomb blast south of Baghdad leaves 19 casualties
The explosion that hits al-Baya’ area today.
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A police source revealed that four persons were killed, while 15 others were wounded in a car bomb blast, in southern Baghdad, Alsumaria News reported on Thursday.
The source said, “A booby-trapped vehicle, parked in al-Baya’ area in southern Baghdad exploded, today, killing four person and wounding 15 others.”
“The explosion also resulted in the burning of five vehicles in the area,” the source explained.
“Security forces cordoned off the area of incident and barred approaching it, while transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital and the body to the forensic medicine department,” the source added on condition of anonymity.
