Bomb blast hurts 5 people in Tooz District

(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Monday, a security source in Salahuddin province stated, that five civilians have been injured in a bomb blast that took place in the district of al-Tooz.
The source informed IraqiNews.com, “This evening, an explosive device that was planted on the road side has went off in the neighborhood of al-Askari in al-Tooz District, located in east of Tikrit,” pointing out that, “The bomb blast resulted in wounding 5 civilians in the area.”
“A security force cordoned off the area of the incident and prevented approaching it, while ambulances transferred the injured to a near hospital for medical treatment,” the source added.
