(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Ministry of Interior revealed on Wednesday, that a blast in eastern Baghdad left with nine casualties.

According to statement shared by the source, it was mentioned, “This morning, an improvised explosive device exploded near shops in al-Amin area in eastern Baghdad, killing one person and wounding eight others.”

The source added, “Security force rushed to the area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital and the bodies of the deceased to the forensic department. A security was cordon around the area of incident and was barred for any human approach.”
