Bomb blast in northern Bagdad, nine casualties

( BAGHDAD – A source in the Ministry of Interior informed that a bomb blast in northern Baghdad left at least three dead and six others severely injured.

The source, explaining details about the blast, said, “This morning an improvised explosive device exploded near a popular market at al-Taji district in northern Baghdad, killing three persons and injuring six others.”

“Security forces rushed to the area and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital. The bodies of the deceased were transferred to the forensic department.”
