Baghdad (IraqiNews) A security source informed, on Sunday, that two civilians were injured in a bomb blast, north of Baghdad.

In a press statement, the source said that an improvised explosive device exploded, today, near a gathering of civilians in Jaguk area, north of Baghdad, wounding two civilians with serious injuries.

Security forces cordoned off the area of incident and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital to receive the needed treatment.

It is noteworthy that Baghdad is recently witnessing relative stability. Baghdad also witnessed a notable retreat in armed attacks and bomb blasts, while security forces are discovering unidentified bodies and dismantling explosive devices in different parts of the capital.
