Bomb blast kills soldier, wounds another in northeast of Baqubah

(IraqiNews.com) Diyali – On Wednesday, a security source in Diyali province said, that a soldier was killed and another was hurt in a bomb blast that targeted a security patrol in al-A’ali area.

The source informed IraqiNews.com, “Today, a bomb that was emplaced on the road side of a field in the area of al-A’ali has went off targeting a security patrol for the army forces,” pointing out that, “The bomb blast resulted in killing a soldier and injuring another some serious injuries.”

“A security force arrived and blockaded the area and transferred the dead body to the Forensic Medicine Authority and the injured to a hospital for medical treatment,” the source also noted.

The area of al-A’ali is located 35 km northeast of Baqubah.
