Bomb blast kills, wounds 7 people southeast of Baghdad

( Baghdad – A source in the Ministry of Interior said on Tuesday, that seven people had been either killed or injured in a bomb blast southeast of Baghdad.

The source said in a brief statement received by, “This evening, an explosive device went off near the medical center in the area of al-Za’faraniya, southeast of Baghdad, resulting in the death of one person and wounding six others,” adding that, “Ambulances rushed to the area of the incident and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital for medical treatment and the dead body to the forensic medicine authority.”
