Bomb blast northeast of Baghdad, seven casualties

( Baghdad – “An improvised explosive device exploded, at noon today, near shops in al-Shaab area northeast of Baghdad, killing one person and wounding six others,” informed a source in the Ministry of Interior today.


Adding further the source said, “Security forces transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital and the body of the deceased was taken to the forensic department. The entire areas was cordoned off and thoroughfare has been prohibited.”
