Bomb blast wounds 2 civilians in Albu Dshir area south of Baghdad

( Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Saturday, that two civilians had been injured in a bomb blast that took place south of the capital Baghdad.

The source said in a statement received by, “This evening, an explosive device that was emplaced on the road side in the area of Albu Dshir, south of Baghdad, went off, resulting in the injury of two civilians,” adding that, “A security forces cordoned off the area of the blast, while an ambulance transferred the injured to a nearby hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment.”
