Bomb blast wounds 2 civilians in southern Bagdad

( Baghdad – On Sunday, a police source revealed, that two civilians were wounded in a bomb blast in southern Baghdad.

The source said in a statement obtained by, “This evening, an improvised explosive device emplaced on the roadside in Abu Dsheir area in southern Baghdad exploded, wounding two civilians with different injuries.”

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, added, “A security force cordoned off the explosion area and transferred the wounded to a nearby hospital to receive the needed treatment.”
