Bomb squad dismantle IED outside house of Mandali Council official

(IraqiNews.com) Diyala – On Monday, a local source in Diyala Province revealed, that the bomb squad dismantled an improvised explosive device emplaced outside the house of the Vice-Chairman of Mandali Council east of Baquba.
The source said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Diyala Police bomb squad managed to dismantle an improvised explosive device emplaced outside the house of the Vice-Chairman of Mandali Council Raed Khalil, without causing any losses.”
The source added, “The security forces have opened an investigation into the circumstances of the incident.”
