Bus bomb blast kills 3, wounds 6 civilians in northern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a source within the police force stated, that 3 civilians have been killed and 6 others were injured in an explosion that occurred from a bomb emplaced within a bus in northern Baghdad.

The source informed IraqiNews, “This evening, a bomb that was emplaced in a bus went off while passing in Bub al-Sham area in northern Baghdad, resulting in 3 deaths and 6 wounded among civilians. Iraqi police shortly blockaded the area of the explosion and ambulances arrived to carry the injured ones to a near hospital, while the 3 dead bodies were sent to the Forensic Medicine Authority in Baghdad.”

Noteworthy, Baghdad witnesses several car bombings in almost all districts of the province, and fierce clashes between the Army forces and ISIS militants are continuously happening in the outskirts of the city.
