Captain, IA soldier killed in Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Two Iraqi army soldiers among them Captain were killed on Saturday due to an armed attack on their houses in northern Tikrit city, capital of Salah il-Din province.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Unidentified gunmen opened fire simultaneously targeting an officer with Captain rank along with a soldier in front of their houses in Shirqat district of northern Tikrit resulted in killing them at once.”

“Security force rushed to the incident place and transported the dead bodies to the morgue,” the source added.
