Car bomb blast injures 3 persons south of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source in the Iraqi police said on Monday, that three people have been wounded in a car bomb blast south of the capital Baghdad.

The source said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “A car bomb exploded, this evening, in the area of al-Shakhaal, located in al-Latifiyah, resulting in the injury of three people.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “Security forces cordoned off the area of the incident and prevented approaching it, while ambulances rushed the injured to a nearby hospital.”
