Car bomb blast kills 5, injures 21 in eastern Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a source within the police force in Baghdad said, that 26 people have been either killed or injured in a bomb blast in the area of al-Mashtal, located in eastern Baghdad.

The source informed IraqiNews, “A bomb that was emplaced inside a car has went off in the area of al-Mashtal, located in eastern Baghdad,” noting that, “The explosion resulted in killing 5 people and injuring 21 others.”

“The injured have been transferred to a near hospital for treatment, while the dead were sent to the Forensic Medicine Authority,” the source asserted.
