Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Military Intelligence Directorate announced on Sunday, that the so-called Administrative Official of the Islamic State extremist group was killed by a coalition air strike, in western Mosul.

The directorate said in a press statement, “The international coalition air force conducted an air strike, based on information obtained from the Military Intelligence Directorate, on New Mosul neighborhood, in western Mosul.”

“The air strike resulted in the killing of Mahmoud Fathi al-Jabouri, also known as Abu Rusol, the Administrative Official of the Islamic State terrorist group.”

Earlier today, Ministry of Defense’s War Media Cell announced that the US-led coalition carried out an air strike on the city of Mosul, destructing three booby-trapped vehicles and an explosives plant belonging to the Islamic State group.
