Coalition forces kill 13 ISIS members in airstrike south of Fallujah

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The leadership of al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia in Anbar Province announced on Friday killing 13 ISIS elements in an aerial bombing by the international coalition south of Fallujah.

The commander of Karmat-Fallujah brigade within al-Hashed al-Sha’bi militia, Colonel Khamis Bahr al-Halabousi, said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aviation, based on intelligence information, targeted a gathering of ISIS elements in the area of Ahsa in the vicinity of al-Ameriyat (18 km south of Fallujah), resulting in the death of 13 elements of the [ISIS], in addition to destroying two vehicles that had carried a rocket launcher.”

Halabousi added, “The cleansing battles are still ongoing in the axes of Ameriyat Fallujah.”
