Coalition strike kills 18 ISIS militants in southern Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) On Wednesday, a security source in Kirkuk province said, that 18 ISIS militants have been killed in an air strike by the international coalition on the militants’ sites in southern Kirkuk.

The source informed IraqiNews, “Warplanes of the international coalition conducted an air strike on ISIS sites, including headquarters for the group in the villages of Wahda, Sa’ad and Khaled, located 35 km southern Kirkuk,” pointing out that, “The air strike resulted in killing 18 militants and destroying more than 3 armored vehicles that belonged to the group.”

“The operation was based on accurate information received by the U.S.-led coalition,” the source added.
