 Coalition warplanes destroy booby-trapped vehicles at al-Halabsa

(IraqiNews.com) al-Anbar – The commander of Anbar Operations Command, Maj. Gen. Ismail al-Mahalawi, announced on Tuesday, that the international coalition aviation has managed to destroy eight booby-trapped vehicles west of Fallujah.

Mahalawi, in a statement issued to the media, said, “The international coalition aviation, in coordination with a unit of Anbar Operations, managed to bombard eight booby-trapped vehicles of ISIS which were driven by suicide bombers at al-Halabsa west of Fallujah,” adding, “The bombing resulted in the destruction of the booby-trapped vehicles and killing all the suicide bombers inside.”

“The vehicles were attempting to target the troops which were heading towards to liberate al-Halabsa and Albu Elwan from ISIS grip,” Mahalawi added.
