(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A security source in Kirkuk province said on Saturday, that 19 ISIS elements, including two senior leaders, have been either killed or wounded in an air strike by the international coalition southwest of the province.

The source informed IraqiNews.com, “Warplanes of the international calition conducted, this evening, an air strike on sites for the ISIS group in villages belonging to the districts of al-Riyad, al-Rashad and the outskirts of al-Hawija (55 km southwest of Kirkuk), resulting in the death of eight elements of the organization, including two senior leaders, and injuring 11 others.”

The source, who requested to remain anonymous, added, “The deadliest strikes were carried out by the French Rafale aircraft.”
