 Coalition warplanes kill, wound 27 ISIS elements southwest of Kirkuk

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – On Friday, a security source in Kirkuk said, that 27 elements of the ISIS organization have been either killed or wounded in an aerial bombing by the international coalition southwest of the province.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The international coalition aircraft bombed, this morning, sites belonging to the ISIS organization in villages in al-Rashad District (35 km southwest of Kirkuk), killing six elements of the organization, including two leaders, and injuring 21 others.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The air strikes targeted three tactical units and sites used by the organization in firing rockets, in addition to destroying about five vehicles used by the ISIS elements.”
