(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Amiriyah Fallujah Council in Anbar informed on Saturday that the Ministry of Interior has appointed Colonel Jamal al-Jumaili as Fallujah Police Director, after the city was liberated from ISIS control.

Head of Amiriyah Fallujah Council Shaker al-Eissai, in a statement said, “The Ministry of Interior has issued a decree to appoint Colonel Jamal al-Jumaili as Fallujah Police Director,” adding, “Today, Jumaili began his job officially.”

Further adding Eissawi said, “Jumaili is one of the most prominent police officers in Anbar and occupied a number of positions including the Director of Shahid Iyad police station and the commander of emergency police regiment, and he also participated in the liberation battles of Ramadi, Fallujah and other areas.”
