Dead, wounded in suicide bombing north of Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A source within the Iraqi police announced on Sunday, that dead and wounded have fallen in a suicide bombing targeted a joint security detachment north of Baghdad.
The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “A suicide bomber detonated a car this morning near Tarmiya building north of Baghdad, targeting a joint army and police detachment and resulting in deaths and injuries in the ranks of the security forces.”
The source, who requested anonymity, added, “Ambulances and police cars rushed to the scene to rescue the victims,” noting that, “The number of causalities remains unknown.”
