Dhuluiya fully liberated, siege on Jabour clans lifted, says Badr organization

(IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, leader of the Badr organization, Karim Nouri announced that Dhuluiya district (south of Tikrit) is completely liberated, and the siege imposed by ISIS on al-Jubouri clans is lifted, after a mass escape of the ISIS elements.

Nouri said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “Security forces backed by the people managed at dawn today to liberate Dhuluiya district (80 km south of Tikrit) fully,” stressing that, “Security forces have searched and cleared a number of houses in the district.”

Nouri added, “Security forces and the people lifted the siege imposed by the terrorist organization on Jabour clans that inhabit the region,” pointing out that, “Dozens of ISIS elements were killed or wounded or arrested while others escaped.”
