(IraqiNews.com) Nineveh – A source in the Joint Operations Command announced on Monday, that dozens of ISIS members were killed in an aerial bombardment south of Mosul (405 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “This morning, Nineveh Intelligence and Security Directorate, in coordination with the Joint Operations launched a fatal air strike against a large gathering belonging to ISIS near Qayyarah Bridge (60 km south of Mosul), killing dozens of ISIS militants.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The Joint Operations warplanes are continuously conducting air strikes on ISIS gatherings and their stronghold in the city of Mosul.”
