Federal Police: Joint forces fully liberated Baiji refinery

(IraqiNews.com) Salah AL-Dien – The federal police command announced on Wednesday the liberation of Baiji refinery, indicating that the joint security forces were able to kill large number of ISIS militant.
Federal police captain Raed Shakir Jawdat said in an interview for IraqiNews.com “our forces and al-Hashed al-Shaabi have liberated Baiji refinery, in addition to seizing three armored carriers (BTR) on the outskirts of the refinery and killing dozens of ISIS elements.”
Noteworthy, a source in the leadership of Salahuddin operations reported on Wednesday, that the security forces have liberated 90% of Baiji refinery, after fierce battles with the organization.
