Federal police officer killed after killing 7 ISIS elements east of Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – On Thursday, Federal police captain Raed Shakir Jawdat announced the killing of a federal police member, after he had killed seven elements belonging to ISIS east of the city of Ramadi.

Jawdat said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com: “one of the heroes of the Federal police managed to infiltrate behind enemy lines in Husaybah al-Sharqiya area (7 km east of Ramadi), and clashed with grenades, killing seven members of the terrorist organization”.

Jawdat added that “the police officer was killed by a sniper during the confrontations after the enemy had suffered heavy casualties.”
