Fire breaks out in Bab Sharqi of central Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A fire broke out in Sayed Sultan Ali Market for electric appliances in Bab al-Sharqi area of central Baghdad, security source reported to IraqiNews.com.

“The fire resulted only in material damage without any casualties,” the source added.

“Initial investigations over the incident show that the fire broke out accidently due to an electric short-circuit while the civil defense brigades managed to put out the fire,” the source concluded.
