(IraqiNew.com) Baghdad – US Secretary of State John Kerry announced on Tuesday that Washington will send the first batch of anti-tank missiles to Iraq this week, while pointed to use them against vehicle bombs in Ramadi.

Kerry said through a telephonic participation in the meeting of the International Alliance Conference to fight ISIS held in Paris, “Washington will hand over the first batch of anti-tank missiles to Iraq this week to help the country in the fight against ISIS terrorists “.

Kerry indicated that, “the first and immediate step ,which we are taking ,is shipping anti-tank missiles to use them against a type of vehicle bombs that spread in Ramadi,” adding that, “what happened in Ramadi is a setback, but we can help the Iraqis to overcome it.
