Golden Division liberates Al-Tash area, kills 27 ISIS elements south Ramadi

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – A security source in Anbar province announced on Tuesday, that the Golden Division managed to liberate Al-Tash area south of the city of Ramadi, pointing out that they had killed 27 ISIS components.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “The Third Golden Division supported by the security forces, international coalition aviation and the Iraqi Aviation were able to liberate Al-Tash area south of the city of Ramadi from ISIS, after violent confrontations and clashes with ISIS elements.”

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added: “Those forces killed 27 elements belonging to ISIS, as well as destroying a number of their vehicles,” indicating that, “five soldiers of the division were wounded during those confrontations and clashes.”

The source stated that “the security forces have gained full control over Al-Tash area.”

  1. ISIS is heavily outnumbered by a much larger and a much stronger Iraqi forces so Anbar should be easily liberated but as usual Iraqi forces will advance slowly.
