Gunman killed in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) The police forces in Kirkuk province managed to kill a gunman possessing a briefcase bomb while attempting to pass through a check point.

The spokesperson of the Ministry of Interior, Saad Maan, stated in a press statement “One of the policemen halted a person while attempting to pass through a check point with a briefcase bomb.”

“The gunman opened fire against the policeman who caught his hand after shooting all his bullets without hurting any person then another policeman fought him with resulted in killing him,” he concluded.
