Gunmen stole 200 million dinars from civilian in northern Baghdad

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – A local source in the Iraqi police said on Sunday, that unidentified militants stole 200 million dinars from a citizen in al-Banouk neighborhood in northern Baghdad.

The source reported for IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, gunmen wearing black uniforms and driving four-wheel drive vehicles stole 200 million dinars from one of the the citizens at gunpoint while passing under al-Bonouk Bridge in the neighborhood of al-Bonouk in northern Baghdad.”

The source, who requested anonymity, added, “The militants fled to an unknown destination, while a security forces cordoned off the area an opened an investigation into the incident.”
