IED blast in northern Baghdad, five casualties

( Baghdad – “A blast in northern Baghdad, which was targeted on a police patrol, left four policemen injured while it killed one,” informed a source in the Ministry of Interior.

“An improvised explosive exploded this afternoon, while the police patrol was passing through al-Tarmiya are in northern Baghdad. Apart from the human casualties, the vehicle on which the policemen were travelling was also damaged badly,” the source further said, adding, “Ambulances rushed to the blast area and transferred the injured to a nearby hospital and the dead body to the forensic department.”
