Salah-il-Din, Tikrit (IraqiNews.com) Three police elements were injured due to an explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device northern Tikrit.Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Monday ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, exploded targeting a police patrol in Ta’meem neighborhood of central Beiji district of Tikrit city.””The explosion resulted in injuring three elements of the police patrol and caused material damage to the police vehicle,” the source added.”The security forces closed all the roads that lead to the explosion area and transported the wounded policemen to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded. \
