(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Wednesday,  Deputy Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, Major General Mustafa Azadi, denied providing the Iraqi army with short-range missiles from “Earthquake” model.

Azadi said in press comments carried by the Iranian news agency “Knight,” “The Iranian Earthquake missiles had not been deployed in Anbar province,” indicating that, “regional states are using the experiences of the Islamic revolution and not our produced missiles.”

“Regional resistance fronts, including the Lebanese Hezbollah guerrillas, Yemen and Iraq are relying on their own missile systems,” stressing that, “the battle in Iraq against ISIS terrorists is a popular step, which has been launched under the supervision of senior clerics in Iraq.” Azadi added.
