Iraq receives 2 Czech fighter jets in Balad Air Base

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iraq has received on Thursday two Czech fighter jets L159 in Balad Base north of Baghdad, under a contract signed between Iraq and the Czech Republic.
The reporter of IraqiNews.com said that the two fighter jets, L159 model, arrived in Balad Air Base north of Baghdad under a contract signed between Iraq and the Czech Republic to equip the Iraqi air force with a number of aircraft of the same model. ”
The reporter added that the celebration of the reception of the two planes was attended by the Defense Minister Khaled al-Obeidi and a delegation from the Czech army.
