Iraqi Air Force conducts “effective” airstrikes on ISIS in al-Karma, Anbar

(IraqiNews.com) Anbar – Iraqi Defense Ministry announced Thursday, that the Iraqi Air Force conducted “effective” air strikes against ISIS sites in al-Karma, noting that the air strikes resulted in killing a large number of militants and the destruction of their equipment in the targeted areas.

The ministry said in a statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “The heroes of the army’s air force conducted effective air strikes against ISIS terrorists and their shelters near al-Sheikha Bridge in the area of al-Karma,” asserting that, “The air strikes resulted in killing a large number of ISIS elements, in addition to destroying equipment and gear stores that were hid in those sites.”

“The aerial bombing was based on accurate intelligence received by army,” the statement read.
