Iraqi airstrike kills ISIS Media Minister in Mosul

Nineveh – (IraqiNews.com) Media officials with the Ministry of Defense announced, that the “ISIS Media Minister of Wilayet Ninewa” was killed by an air strike in the city of Mosul.
The officials said in a press statement, “The ISIS media minister of Wilayet Ninewa, who was also responsible for movies production, the so-called Ziad Kharoufa was killed, today, by an air strike conducted by Iraqi Air Force in Nineveh Province.”
“The extremist group held the funeral of the senior leader in al-Hayy al-Arabi in the eastern coast of the city of Mosul, amid strict security procedures,” the statement added.
Joint security forces, backed by Army Aviation and international coalition troops, continue exercising efforts to liberate the city of Mosul from the ISIS grip, within the offensive that was launched in 17 October 2016 by General Commander of armed Forces Haider al-Abadi.
