Iraqi Anti-Terrorism announces the liberation of Albu Risha area north of Ramadi

(Iraqinews.com) Anbar – Deputy Commander of the Anti-Terrorism Operations in Anbar province, Brigadier General Abdul Amir al-Khazraji, announced on Sunday the liberation of Albu Risha area north of Ramadi.

Khazraji said in an interview for Iraqinews.com, “The security forces and Anti-terrorism were able today to liberate Albu Risha area north of Ramadi.”

He added: “The army and the international coalition played a major role in the liberation of the region through supporting the security forces on the ground and the bombing of ISIS sites,” stressing that “Anti-Terrorism forces completely controlled the area and cut off all ISIS supply lines from the north.”
