Iraqi Defense Ministry to send military troops to Egypt for training

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – The Iraqi Ministry of Defence revealed, that it is seeking to send a number of military troops to Egypt in order to receive military training in the Egyptian Military Academy.
The Ministry of Defense spokesman Nosseir Nouri said in a press statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “The ministry is preparing the military regiments that will travel to receive training in the Egyptian Military Academy,” adding that, “The agreement was concluded with the Egyptian Ministry of Defense, and the troops will be sent in the coming two months.”
Noteworthy the Iraqi Minister of Defense Khaled al-Obeidi visited Egypt last month, and met the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and the Egyptian Minister of Defense Sedky Sobhy.
