(IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – A source in al-Hashed al-Shaabi in Salahuddin Province announced on Thursday, that the Iraqi aircraft managed to destroy a booby-trapping laboratory in the district of Shirqat north of Tikrit (170 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in a statement followed by IraqiNews.com, “Today, Iraqi F16 fighter jets, based on accurate intelligence information, managed to bomb a laboratory in al-Shirqat District north of Tikrit.”

The source, who asked anonymity, added, “The laboratory was used by ISIS to booby-trap vehicles, in order to be used against the joint security forces in the areas of Makhoul and al-Siniya.”
