Iraqi F16 fighter jets destroy vital targets, kill dozens of ISIS elements in Hawija

( Kirkuk – A security source revealed early on Wednesday, that dozens of ISIS members were killed in an aerial bombardment carried out by the Iraqi F16 fighter jets in Hawija southwest of Kirkuk (250 km north of Baghdad).

The source said in an interview obtained by, “Today, Iraqi F16 fighter jets bombed vital targets, including ISIS headquarters and gatherings in Hawija and its surroundings, (45 km southwest of Kirkuk), killing dozens of ISIS members, as well as destructing the goals completely.”

The source, on condition of anonymity, added, “The shelling was carried out based on information from the Anti-Terrorism Bureau and Directorate of Military Intelligence.”
